The Easiest and Quickest Honey Maple Glazed Salmon

Serves 4-6  people

This salmon is easy and quick for those nights when you don’t know what to make.  I wish dinner could be like this every night. The trick to cooking the salmon is high temp for short time.  Overcooking will dry it out. Lemon and thyme are wonderful flavours to help balance out the sweetness of the honey and maple syrup.

Ingredients

  • 1 whole Salmon fillet, boneless
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp montreal chicken spice
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ lemon, sliced thinly
  • 2 sprigs of thyme

Preparation

  1. Drizzle half of the olive oil over the bottom of a glass baking dish.
  2. Place the salmon over the oil and sprinkle with all the spices, butter, oil and lemon slices.
  3. Bake at 400F for 13 minutes or until top gets crispy. Let cool and serve.
